Michael Messemer Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer

Michael joined Asset Management Company in 2014, where he manages organizational and investment strategy, with a focus on venture capital and portfolio hedging. He serves on the Board of Directors at Dianomic, Trucentive, SeeQC, Hypres, Immungenetics and the Franklin and Catherine Johnson Foundation. Previously, Michael spent ten years in the United States Navy as an F/A-18 Hornet pilot. While attached to USS Nimitz he flew combat missions in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom, and subsequently completed tours in Japan and Bahrain. Personally, he enjoys playing golf, skiing, camping and fishing. He received a Bachelor of Science degree with Distinction in Aerospace Engineering from the United States Naval Academy and a Master of Business Administration from the Harvard Business School.
